Move slowly, attentively, and within your own available range. This progressive series combines controlled joint movement, fascia-informed exploration, somatic awareness, breath, and yoga-informed principles to support usable mobility, coordination, and greater ease in everyday movement.
Each week focuses on a different region of the body before connecting those individual movements to whole-body activities such as reaching, turning, walking, balancing, and moving between positions. Props provide feedback, support, gentle resistance, and new ways to experience familiar movements.
Rather than forcing flexibility or trying to achieve a particular shape, you’ll learn to listen, adjust, and develop greater control within the movement available to you. Yoga informs the attention, breath, and whole-person approach, but the class is presented in accessible contemporary movement language. No yoga experience or exceptional flexibility is required.
